It is said that elections are won on the doorstep, and that may well be true. Being armchair activists, it’s difficult to check up on that.
Twitter and blogs however are part of our social media present and future, and if the election was decided there, how would each of the wards be looking?
Medway Conservatives (55 candidates)
Most residents get involved in keeping Medway clean, while others complain and do nothing. A huge thank you, from Tashi and me, to all our street angels who joined us yesterday in our work to always keep #PrincesParkTidy.#GBSpringClean2019 @MedwayTories pic.twitter.com/3Sg48euYmE

#MedwayElects19 I am struck as I go around Watling Ward how poor the mobile phone signal is especially in the north.
— Andrew Lawrence (@MrAWJLawrence) March 24, 2019
If elected I hope we can work with @medway_council @MedwayTories and our local MPs to lobby the big companies for investment in our mobile infrastructure.
Thank you to the ‘legendary’ Gurdev Singh of The Codfather who is now asking his customers to Vote Conservative on May 2nd to improve Luton #ToryCanvass @MedwayTories @AlexMcDermott84 pic.twitter.com/9ZwFtKX3bt

Post natal depression is the cruellest of conditions; gripping exhausted new mums in a vice between societal pressure and maternal guilt.
More community support is essential. https://t.co/mw3ak8dQ0t
Met these lovely ladies at "Walking Workout with a Difference" in Rochester this evening, helping both mind and fitness. I am hoping to help the organiser develop and grow this non-profit making concept to sustainably reach more people. pic.twitter.com/FG2Lo6Pc93

Good to see musicians like Paul McCartney benefitting from new EU rules on the web. Should bring in a few shekels (or Euros) How about a live concert to celebrate? Or is that too much work?

Despite people saying that crime was falling at Luton PACT yesterday the reality is the opposite. Crime has risen across Medway and the trend is worsening. https://t.co/ounMZWKqvK

We know the @MedwayTories have been waging a war on motorists. Pot holed roads, the ‘dodgy deal’ Medway Tunnel purchases and constant fleecing in parking charges that are killing highstreet. Time for change on May 2nd.

You see People door knocking with red leaflets and think, great a @MedwayLabour activist with whom to have an interesting conversation. You think of all the difficult questions for them and ……it is in fact a double glazing company – soo disappointed.
