On Rural Post Offices

For centuries, post offices have been the centre of social life in our communities, towns and villages. That is especially true in rural areas, which is why our 2017 manifesto committed to safeguarding the post office network and supporting rural services.

To the Delegated Legislation Committee

On Draft Takeovers (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

The regulations will be made under powers in the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018. They amend part 28 of the Companies Act 2006, so that the United Kingdom’s corporate takeovers regime can operate independently in the event that the UK exits from the EU without a withdrawal agreement.

Draft Accounts and Reports (Amendment) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018

Since the UK’s 2016 referendum decision to leave the EU, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has undertaken a significant amount of work on the withdrawal negotiations, preparing for a range of potential outcomes. We have been working, and must continue to work, to prepare for a no deal scenario.

Draft Postal and Parcel Services (Amendment Etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018

The draft regulations were laid before the House on 29 October. The Government are confident that an agreement on the EU exit will be achieved, but we must be prepared for all outcomes. If the UK left the EU without an agreement in place, the instrument would provide legal clarity and consistency for the regulator and postal operators.

On Cat Welfare

This debate about cat welfare is linked to a private Member’s Bill that I presented to the House in July 2018, after speaking to a fantastic local charity in my constituency, Animals Lost and Found in Kent. To be frank, I was not aware of its great work until we were looking at the national volunteers charity day and my wonderful staff member Finlay, who is sitting in the Gallery behind me, said, “This is a list of charities in the constituency. Which one would you like to go and visit?” So I said, “Animals Lost and Found in Grange Road, Gillingham. Let’s go and see the great work they do.”

Meeting Natasha and Dee was inspirational. They are two individuals who do not have a lot of money, but they do have an amazing heart in wanting to do the right thing and ensuring that animals that have been abandoned, lost or injured get the support they need. I went to the back of their house and I saw a number of cats who had been either neglected, injured or abandoned. I said to Natasha and Dee, “What can I do to help you?” They said that the legislation needed to be looked at.

What are your thoughts about Medway’s MPs and their performance in Parliament?
Is Kelly right to prepare for a ‘no deal scenario’?
Was Tracey right to vote no on the legalisation of cannabis?
Does Rehman have what it takes to get Cat welfare legislation through Parliament?

  1. Firstly I understand Tracey Crouch is stance on gambling think it’s wrong personally but I understand it and thumbs up for her actions

And Kelly Tolhurst for her stance on preparing for a hard brexit even though in Kelly herself is somebody who believes she wants to remain in single market and then would be acceptable to us completely leaving from the EU

Kelly and Tracey weather you like political party or not they are being mentioned regularly within local media and we are seeing them regularly promoting the area well done ladies

Rayman shifty on the other hand well let’s go with first things first a week or so ago it was poppy day you know the Sunday Remembrance Sunday I was up there with my mother my daughter in Scouts Troop and apparently Raymond shifty was there as well although I remember asking members of the audience where is he and everybody was stating he wasn’t there now we know how Raymond she still loves the photograph so considering Roman time to be there but yet nobody who actually attended saw him why is he lying to his own constituency furthermore Raymond did actually do something brave he resigned his ministerial job but that’s about it his letter was incoherent and was a laughing stock to the rest of the country so issues to be raised make sure whoever writes that for you Raymond actually proofreads it and make sure it makes sense

Now as a trio you guys should be meeting up regularly and making Medway great again well number one Snodland isn’t in Medway even knowing in Snodland there are Medway shops like Medway bakery for example should they not have a referendum to join the Medway Towns and then it makes it pretty simple with our Trio

Medway Council and Medway in particular is a city without its City Hood status maybe this is something you guys can bring up in Parliament

as the truth will out a brexit criticism well it would be nice if you guys tell the world how carers and key workers are still able to get around Kent and Medway even when operation Stack is in place because it’s not like we haven’t seen it before

personal issue of myself are you aware that the schools or primary schools are refusing and local doctors are refusing to offer psychological evaluations dyslexia test that are equal to a definitive statement of dyslexia for children and the average cost in this area for a parent to assess the children considering the schools and local council demand expertise in the qualification of the tester can be up to £1,500 now as a single father who struggles every day I can never afford this this is way outside of my price range so please can you get together I’m well happy to meet up with you guys and raise this as an issue are schools seem to be turning around however we still have more Grammar School places then Medway children being put in them why is it that more children from other areas go to our grammar schools

if any of you have had trouble reading this document it is because I am severely dyslexic I am completely illiterate and have to use a narrator this is not funded in any way of shape or form by the government because nobody feels adults with dyslexia are needed to have any support at all so the technology is out of date and faulty and in capable of filling applications out

Robert McCulloch Martin just my thoughts in relation to these guys thank you for Reading
